SF Content Strategy Meetup: Mobile Content Strategy

Tuesday, November 13, 2012 / 6:30pm - 9:00pm
Hot Studio SF, 585 Howard St., San Francisco

We're excited and honored that our friends and founders of Bay Area Content Strategy Meetup asked us to host a evening with Karen McGrane. Karen is a thought leader in the content strategy field, with a firm stance that without a mobile content strategy, you don't have a content strategy!

As our communication tools become more advanced, it is undeniable that the mobile device is the easiest—and often first—tool for search and connecting with people. This means content must be fluid and adaptive. Karen will discuss the implications of considering mobile when designing, developing, and creating content for these interfaces.

Karen has spent over 15 years creating digital products that leverage user experience design and content strategy. She is currently Managing Partner at Bond Art + Science, where she develops web strategies and interaction designs for publishers, financial institutions, and healthcare companies. Karen also teaches Design Management as a faculty member of the MFA program in Interaction Design at SVA in NY, which focuses on teaching students how to run successful projects, teams and businesses, and was previously a VP and National Lead for User Experience at Razorfish. And, she just published a book on mobile content strategy called, "Content Strategy For Mobile."
