Hot Moves Up in the Rankings

Hot Studio climbed up the 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the Bay Area list, landing at 52 for this year. In 2007, Hot was ranked at 60.

To make it on the San Francisco Business Times' honor roll, companies must show an exceptional percentage of revenue growth from 2005 to 2007. In that span, Hot put up revenue growth of 92.5 percent, and mushroomed in staff from 13 people to 29.

“Despite the economic downturn and challenging times, Hot Studio continues to grow and thrive,” said Hot Studio CEO Maria Giudice. “We are very privileged to not only have incredible and resilient clients, but the very best designers and collaborators around. This award is for them.”

The 2008 rankings, which were compiled by the Business Times and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, were announced in late October. This is the 17th year the Business Times has published their list.

This also marks the third year in a row Hot Studio, one of a handful of design agencies to appear on the list, has been named in the rankings.

Hot’s success as a fast-growing private company can be attributed to its “quality first” culture, said Hot Studio COO Rajan Dev. That level of excellence, Dev said, has led to Hot’s outstanding reputation among Fortune 100 companies, community organizations and emerging businesses.
