Hot Nominated for Three Webby Awards

Hot Studio's website redesigns for Dwell.com and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art garnered three Webby Award nominations. The SFMOMA site is a finalist in the Best Cultural Institution category, and the Dwell.com site is a finalist in both the Best Lifestyle and Best Magazine categories. Winners of the 13th annual Webby Awards will be announced on May 5.

Also, Hot's work on the website for Once Upon a School was recognized as an Official Honoree by the Webbys, a distinction awarded to the top 15% of all work submitted for awards consideration, according to the Webbys. This year, nearly 10,000 entries from all 50 states and more than 60 countries were submitted.

Hailed as the “Internet's highest honor” by the New York Times, the Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet, including websites, online film and video, interactive designing, and mobile websites.

“What a great feeling to be nominated and honored for sfmoma.org, dwell.com and onceuponaschool.org, all in the same year,” said Maria Giudice, CEO and founder of Hot Studio. “It's fantastic to see Hot Studio being recognized in this way. Now let's go and win some awards!”
