Hot Studio Among Top Hundred Women-Owned Businesses

For the seventh year in a row, the San Francisco Business Times has named Hot Studio one of the top one hundred women-owned businesses in San Francisco.

The list, which also features companies like Stella & Dot, W. Bradley Electric, and ASI Corp. in addition to Hot, ranks businesses according to annual revenue. This year, Hot comes in at #26, up from #38 in 2011, and #91 when first debuting on the list in 2006.

“It’s a wonderful honor to be recognized once again by the San Francisco Business Times,” says Hot’s Founder and CEO, Maria Giudice. “It’s so inspiring to see the great work being done by women entrepreneurs in the Bay Area, and I hope our stories help encourage more women to launch their own business.”

Maria’s own experiences as a working mom and executive have given rise to many of Hot’s unique workplace programs, including Babies at Work, which offers new moms and dads the option of bringing their newborns into the office. In 2012, Hot was recognized by the California Breastfeeding Coalition as a Mother-Baby Friendly Workplace.
