Hot Studio Lands on Two Top 100 Lists

Hot Studio once again made the list of top businesses in the Bay Area. In fact, it made it on to two of them.

Hot was recognized by the San Francisco Business Times as not only one of the largest women-owned businesses in the region, but as one of the locale’s fastest-growing private companies, too.

Hot is one of only a handful of design agencies to have been named to either list.

“It is always a privilege and an honor to consistently make the Top 100 Women-Owned Business and Fastest-Growing Companies List,” said founder and CEO Maria Giudice. “We have the most amazing employees who do extraordinary work, so this honor is for them. It reflects how their work is the reason why we’re as successful as we are, and will continue to be.”

This is the third year in a row Hot Studio was named to the financial paper’s list of the Bay Area’s Top 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies. In 2006, the company debuted at No. 88. By 2007, it had climbed all the way up to No. 60.

This is also the third time Hot Studio has appeared on the Largest Women-Owned Businesses list. In 2006, Business Times ranked Hot Studio at No. 91. In 2007, Hot's ranking soared all the way to No. 71. This year, the company came in at No. 73.

Despite that tiny drop in the rankings, Hot continues to prosper. Earlier this year, it also made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.

The 2008 rankings of the Bay Area's fastest-growing companies, compiled by Business Times and PriceWaterhouseCoopers, who look at a company's revenue growth over the past year, will be revealed at an October 23rd ceremony at the San Francisco Hilton.
